The changes your body goes through during pregnancy and beyond can be challenging. If requested I can do light editing to any areas you feel insecure about. I also suggest utilizing the hair and makeup team to help you feel your best during the session.

For newborn sessions, I understand that not everyone has a picture-perfect home, especially with a new baby! My studio offers a home-like setup with cozy options like a bed or crib, so you get that “in-home” feel without the need to tidy up or reorganize.

Outfit Assistance and Client Closet: Choosing outfits for everyone can be tricky. That’s why I offer an outfit planning tool to give you some ideas, along with access to our client closet featuring timeless pieces that photograph beautifully.

Upon booking you will receive your session preparation guide and location guide. It covers location recommendations, outfit planning help, color palettes to work with and more.

After we go over the details, schedule your session ASAP. Weekends are the most sought after sessions times for families so available dates can be limited. This isn't meant to pressure you but it is always best to book early.
A $200 retainer is all you need to get on my schedule. You don't have to pick a set number of images until you receive your gallery. That way you only are paying for the images you love! Oh, and the retainer will go towards your collection!

Planning Your Session

Woo-hoo! Its picture day! Your outfits are planned, all your questions have been taken care of. All you need to do is simply show up and show off your beautiful family! I will guide you into poses and give you fun prompts to get your family interacting and to get natural smiles and laughs.

After our session I get right to work on editing your gallery. You will receive your gallery electronically within 2 weeks from our session date. Trust me, I am just as excited to show you as you are to see them!

When I reached out to Julie initially, she was quick to respond, helpful in answering all of my questions, and accommodating with arranging a place and date/time for our photoshoot. We asked Julie to do our photos at our home -- she gladly trekked around our property up hills and through hay and soybean fields to get us the "harvest season" feel we wanted for our photos.
