My photography style is a mix of classic and lifestyle photography, capturing natural interactions while guiding you with gentle poses when needed. My sessions are designed to be interactive, engaging, and comfortable for every family member, from the youngest child to the proudest grandparent.

A Family-Friendly Experience for Maryland and Baltimore Families
Being a busy Mom myself, I understand the challenges that come with scheduling and planning a family photo session, especially with little ones involved. From selecting the perfect location to helping you coordinate outfits; I make it easy for you to enjoy the experience without the stress. I provide a planning guide and an outfit coordination tool, plus access to my client wardrobe for those who need additional options.
Personalized and Stress-Free Family Sessions
I have a collection of gorgeous dresses that are available for you to use! I will either bring you some dresses for you to try on before hand or can bring a changing tent for you to easily change into at our session.
Upon booking you will receive your Family Session Prep Guide. It covers location recommendations, Outfit do's & don'ts with color palette suggestions, How to prepare for the day of our session.

Each family has their own vision for a session. I want to make sure both your vision and my style of photography meet to make beautiful images you will cherish forever.

Step 1 of 5
After we go over the details, schedule your session ASAP. Weekends are the most sought after sessions times for families so available dates can be limited. This isn't meant to pressure you but it is always best to book early.

Step 2 of 5
A $250 session fee is all you need to get on my schedule. You don't have to pick a set number of images until you receive your gallery. That way you only are paying for the images you love!

Step 3 of 5
Woo-hoo! Its picture day! Your outfits are planned, all your questions have been taken care of. All you need to do is simply show up and show off your beautiful family! I will guide you into poses and give you fun prompts to get your family interacting and to get natural smiles and laughs.

Step 4 of 5
After our session I get right to work on editing your gallery. You will receive your gallery electronically within 2 weeks from our session date. Trust me, I am just as excited to show you as you are to see them!

"Julie did a wonderful job with my maternity/family photos! When I reached out to Julie initially, she was quick to respond, helpful in answering all of my questions, and accommodating with arranging a place and date/time for our photoshoot. We asked Julie to do our photos at our home -- she gladly trekked around our property up hills and through hay and soybean fields to get us the "harvest season" feel we wanted for our photos. She perfectly captured our vision! She sent us a sneak peek the following day and we were blown away. The rest of the pictures she sent later that week were just as beautiful. We plan to do annual photos for our family greeting card and can't wait to ask Julie to photograph our family again!"

"I have had a fabulous experience with Julie as our family photographer! From maternity photos, mommy and me photos, and family photos with grandparents, Julie was amazing. I'm plus size and was very nervous about feeling beautiful and having a 'nice bump' and not looking fat for my maternity photos. She provided and let me try on a few maternity dresses, listened to what I wanted, and gave me lots of tips on how to stand and pose.
