One of the first things I noticed about Annapolis Pediatrics was how thorough the information was on their website. I also loved that they offer supporting events for different parenting needs. Some events that they hold are prenatal open houses, breast feeding support, parenting school aged kids, breastfeeding, and baby basics. This is such a helpful way to serve patients not only through medical needs but also all around parenting aspects. Out of all my recommended Annapolis pediatricians, they offer the most educational support.
Can I get a walk in appointment? Walk-in patients (no appointment needed) are seen Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM in the Annapolis office only. This service is for Annapolis Pediatrics patients only. We have reserved this time for our ill children with simple conditions who require a very brief visit, such as an ear or throat check. Please note, currently due to Covid, walk in appointments are not available. (January 2021)

Also, we will not charge for calls on questions relating to an office visit that occurred within the previous seven days. Our after hours service can not schedule appointments or call in routine prescription refills.

Two things stood out to me about this practice. First, during the covid pandemic, they are offering 3 appointment options with one being outdoor, curbside visits. The second notable thing about Chesapeake Pediatrics is one of the Nurse Practitioners, Lindsay Ward, is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. This is definitely a plus when an expecting mom is browsing through Annapolis pediatricians.
