In late September I held an evening of Maryland sunflower field sessions at The Farm Yard in Parkton, Maryland.
I had my fingers crossed all day because it was foggy and drizzling off and on all morning. Luckily the sun came out and it cleared up to be gorgeous!
It was such a nice evening full of meeting some new families as well as seeing past clients.
There are many Maryland Sunflower fields but this one is exceptionally cool because you can also explore around the farm and see the different animals they have there. It really does make for a fun family day.
This little man was a year and a half and had the biggest, best smiles. I can’t remember what song we were singing but he lit up like this and was jamming out!
Next up was this sweet little lady. She was so dainty and different from the boys I had that day. All the boys fell as they were running around exploring. She was 2 years old and was such a doll!
My last family of the evening was this fun crew. We definitely let the little guy call the shots and we followed his lead as he let us know what was going to make him smile. I tried a few of my usual games to get smiles but he was not impressed. Finally the ol’ raspberries on the belly did the trick!
I cant wait to return to this Maryland sunflower field next year for more sessions!
